Beautiful palm alley strecthes along Ban Amphur beach. This beach is very wide and long. During the tourist high season, the water has an azure color and is transparent. The entrance to the sea is deep. In the low season there is often wind, there are mostly waves. At low tide it becomes very shallow, so it’s impossible to swim, and shells with sea urchins are thrown onto land.
The beach is located in 14 km to south of the center of Pattaya, behind a number of breakwaters near the mouth of a small river.
It is a wide sandy beach 800 meters long, bordering on one side with a breakwater (in the north), and with a rocky cape in the south.
Infrastructure
The sand on this beach is grayish yellow and in the high season is pretty clean. In the rainy season, a lot of broken seashells ashore, and you need to walk barefoot carefully.
The water on this beach is pretty clean. At least cleaner than the central beaches of Pattaya. The beach itself, as a rule, is not crowded, but gradually it is gaining popularity, and there are more and more people here.
Along the entire beach is a neat alley with young palm trees along it. But the palm trees are still too young to give a full shadow.
There is also a cafe and restaurant with fresh seafood and affordable prices.
On holidays, fairs with Thai fast food, souvenirs and other little things are often organized on the beach.
One of the advantages is the fact that the beach has a good children's playground with swings, slides and more. And also there are exercise machines in the open air.
