Hua Hin is a coastal city on Siam Gulf. Located 220 kilometers south of Bangkok it became a popular resort. This is one of the oldest resorts of Thailand. Although the city is small, with only 80,000 people, it is a fully developed luxury tourist center.
Hua Hin resort is considered to be expensive, unlike other places in Thailand. In general, the title of “Royal Resort” was entrenched in Hua Hin, since around a century ago when The King of Thailand chose this place for vacation of the Royal family. Therefore, Hua Hin is very clean and safe.
Hua Hin is translated as "stone head", the name is due to the fact that in some places on the city coast stones stick out from the water, look like stone heads.
