Saraburi Province, located in the Northern part of Thailand, is famous with tourist attractions including natural sites, artifacts, festivals, temples as well as historical monuments. Saraburi is located 115 km to Bangkok and 65 km to Ayutthaya. Here is the most important Buddhist temple Wat Phra Phutthabat, built in the 17th century around the footprint of the Buddha.
The province has two National Parks. Namtok Chet Sao Noi Park guards 28 km2 surrounds the picturesque Chet Soa Noi waterfall. Phra Phutthachai Park serves to preserve the Khao Sam Lan forest, located on a hilly area from where several rivers and waterfalls start.
